Founded in 2012, Desmos has become one of Greece’s most dynamic and impactful giving hubs.
Desmos supports a wide range of charitable organisations assisting people in need anywhere in Greece, so they can focus on what they do best: help the most vulnerable.
Its programs focus on social welfare, healthcare, youth empowerment, education and employment and emergency response and recovery.
Desmos documents needs and helps distribute resources where they are most needed, including essential goods and services such as food, shelter, clothing, and heating fuel and medical supplies.
The Hellenic Initiative Australia has funded the development and operation of the innovative Desmos Direct online donation portal.
THI Australia is also a supporter of the ground-breaking I Care & Act education program, which promotes volunteering and active citizenship among school children in Greece.
